September 30, 2025 (Tue.) – Aurora Sighting #3!

September 30, 2025 (Tue.) - Rest and More Auroras!

We didn’t have much planned today. After a full day yesterday, we were ready to slow down, catch up on chores, and let ourselves breathe. With Otis gone, the quiet feels heavier, so we kept ourselves busy to stay distracted.

Kirk tackled a few small RV fixes and even managed to glue our hula girl back together—she’s officially ride-worthy again.

Lynn spent the day immersed in blog work, sorting through photos, doing laundry, and tidying up. We stayed in the RV all day, kept meals simple, and relaxed with some TV.

By 8:30 PM, Lynn started getting aurora alerts again—no way she was missing a third chance! She stepped outside but didn’t see anything at first. At 9 PM, a faint glow began to appear, and by 11:30 PM, the aurora was back. The colors were softer this time, but the sky showed more defined peaks. After four trips outside, she finally called it a night at 12:30 AM, once the lights faded.

For a quiet, low-key day, we were gifted another magical show in the sky. Not many pics today.

Weather – High 77*, Low 44*. Wind 2-10 mph with gusts up to 23 mph. No rain, no humidity.
