June 22, 2025 (Sun.) - New fog lights, blogging
With no luck finding a shop to install his fog lights, Kirk took matters into his own hands, deciding today was the perfect window—sunny skies now, rain on the horizon.
Lynn enjoyed another peaceful morning, coffee in hand, taking in the sunshine, watching the birds and enjoying the breezy air. While Kirk tackled his project, she dove into catching up on the blog—a bit of a challenge since she’d slacked on note-taking thanks to how relaxing and beautiful Custer’s been lately.
Kirk kicked things off at 9:30 AM, but by 10:00, it was clear—more tools were needed (shocking, right?). After a quick trip to ACE, he was back at it… until 1 PM, when it became obvious he needed a very specific wrench. ACE only sold it in a 7-piece set for $82, but then he spotted a 20-piece set on sale for $69. So naturally, what began as a one-wrench mission turned into 20 new tools—because why not? Now the real challenge: where to store them all!
By 4:30 PM, the lights were installed. Lynn wrapped up several days of blog updates and squeezed in a much-needed VR Supernatural workout outside. It had been months since her last one, so she gave the neighbors a fair warning—flailing arms incoming. Thankfully, they enjoyed the country playlist and Kirk even set up a privacy panel on the canopy. Still, Lynn’s motto: a workout’s a workout—let ’em stare!
We didn’t leave the campground, but between projects, fresh air, and good energy—it was a wonderfully productive day at home. Not a lot of pics for today.
Weather – High 74*. Low 50*. Winds 11-30 mph. Beautiful sunny and breezy day. No major wind gusts.
Traffic – None.
Food – Nothing to report. Ate in RV all day.
